No último domingo (7) aconteceu o 26º Critics’ Choice Awards, premiação que reúne séries e filmes escolhidos pela Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA – Organização de Críticos de Cinema dos Estados Unidos e Canadá). Assim como o Globo de Ouro, este evento é conhecido como o termômetro para o Oscar.
Neste ano, o evento aconteceu de forma híbrida (virtual e presencial), com o anfitrião Taye Diggs e alguns apresentadores presentes na cerimônia em Los Angeles. Dentre as premiações, a atriz Zendaya levou o troféu SeeHer, que homenageia mulheres que lutam pela igualdade e servem como inspirações para outras pessoas.
